Previously in Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds (2017) , Soo-hong had a fight with his older brother Kim Ja-hong before his brother died and he was angry that he had made life difficult for his family. Gang Rim (Ha Jung-woo), Lee Deok-chun (Kim Hyang-gi), and Hae Won-mak (Joo Ji-hoon) continue to investigate the case with a broad scope. Gang Rim finds out that Soo-hong’s cause of death was the cover-up of evidence at the crime scene, so he was buried alive deep in the woods near the military camp.
Therefore, the judgment of Su-hong’s goodness is within the standards of the rules of the seven levels of hell: the Hell of Murder, the Hell of Laziness, the Hell of Deceit, the Hell of Injustice, the Hell of Betrayal, the Hell of Violence, and the Hell of Gratitude.
Eventually, Soo-hong’s accusations start to diminish with the truth that comes out since he was away from his family and worked hard and devoted himself to the military’s ideals. This leaves Soo-hong with no time to take care of his mother and understand the life of his brother who sacrificed himself to work as a firefighter. In addition, the Grim Reaper finds a way to deal with the captain who covered up the death of the officer secretly, including Kim Ja-hong’s kindness that makes Soo-hong understand his brother during the time he disappeared from home. However, he will have to be tried in the final level of hell.
